Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Bruce Mitchell is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer for Comerica Bank. He is a member of Comerica’s Management Executive Committee.
In his role, Mitchell is responsible for all enterprise-wide technology activities, including infrastructure, architecture, application development, innovation and operations management.
Prior to joining Comerica in November 2020, Mitchell spent five years at TD Bank where he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Wealth and Insurance leading a global team in the development of strategy, design and delivery of optimal technology solutions to support and advance the business strategy.
Mitchell has had a progressive career in Financial Services technology that spans more than 25 years and multiple countries, including Lloyds Banking Group PLC (United Kingdom), HSBC (China, India and U.S.), Mellon Financial (U.S.) and Sason Corporation (U.S.).
Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science from the University of Pittsburgh.
