Executive Vice President, Executive Director of Retail Bank
Cassandra M. McKinney, Executive Vice President, is Executive Director of the Retail Bank for Comerica Bank. She is a member of Comerica’s Management Executive Committee.
McKinney is responsible for personal banking and community banking lines of business. Additional responsibilities include the retail distribution channels, retail product management, retail operations and support, and Comerica’s loan center.
McKinney is a change agent effective in driving innovation, revenue, efficiencies and mitigating risk with more than 30 years of leadership experience across several industries. Prior to joining Comerica Bank, she served at Bank of America leading key lines of business as well as providing strategic planning and technical support. She started her career at IBM where she gained critical leadership and sales experience, providing client support for Fortune 100 accounts.
She joined Comerica in 2005 as Senior Vice President and Retail Director of Product and Sales Management. She became Director of Retail Operations in 2011 and was named Director of both retail product and operations in 2016.
McKinney is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, and Chemistry from Dillard University. She is a graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association's School of Banking. Professional certifications include School of Retail Bank Management and Six Sigma Greenbelt.
A dedicated community leader, McKinney currently serves on the Booker T. Washington Advisor Board and has served as Chair of the Women of Tocqueville Committee and on the General Campaign for Comerica Bank’s support of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. She is also a member of The Links, Incorporated serving many leadership capacities, currently chapter president.
