New location solidifies Comerica’s Southeast Michigan presence

DETROIT, Feb. 24, 2020 – Comerica Bank will open its first banking center in Royal Oak, Mich., on Feb. 8, strengthening its status as the largest network of banking centers in Southeast Michigan. The bank now has 146 locations across the five-county area of Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties, including 52 in Oakland County.

The brand new banking center is located at 323 S. Main Street in downtown Royal Oak, on the corner of Main Street and 4th Street, and features walk-up and extended service hours via a Comerica Banker ConnectSM interactive teller machine. Banker Connect service representatives can assist customers, make cash deposits with immediate availability, deposit cash or checks, withdraw cash with choice of denomination, transfer money, make installment payments and more.

In addition to the Banker Connect service, the Royal Oak banking center also provides an open office layout with clear sightlines to welcome customers, along with inviting seating options with multiple areas to have safe and comfortable conversations with Comerica’s banking center team. Digital messaging displays and updated color schemes are featured inside the banking center as well.

“While the delivery of services and customer connections undoubtedly have been different this past year, our continued commitment to enhancing our full-service banking experiences remains a priority,” said Mike Ritchie, Comerica Bank Michigan Market President. “This investment in Royal Oak, as well as other communities across Michigan, expands our ability to serve customers with a range of relationship banking resources to meet their needs.”

Comerica's Royal Oak banking center will operate Monday - Thursday 9 a.m.-5p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Extended service hours via Banker Connect are Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

“Comerica is committed to our Michigan customers and businesses, and we look forward to serving our customers and expanding relationships from these banking center locations,” said Cassandra McKinney, Executive Director of the Retail Bank. “Though we’re seeing an increase in banking through our digital channels, we are dedicated to our local communities, and our full-service banking centers remain an integral part of our relationship-based banking.”
