Comerica Park Perks program to feature Tigers ticket sweepstakes, VIP entrance, season-end community party and more

Comerica Bank announced today it had extended its naming rights agreement through 2034, adding a five-year term to its original 30-year agreement, which was originally set to expire on Dec. 31, 2029. The extension option was available under the terms of the initial agreement. The bank also announced its plans to continue the Comerica Park Perks program in the 2018 season. The announcement was made during the Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan stop at Comerica Bank’s Auburn Hills Operations Center.

“The decades-long relationship between the Detroit Tigers and Comerica is authentic, steeped in tradition and ties together two household names in Michigan and across the nation,” said Chris Granger, group president, Sports and Entertainment at Ilitch Holdings, Inc. “The depth and breadth of our partnership with Comerica Bank stands out. We’re extremely excited to build on that partnership in coming years with the Tigers, as well as the Red Wings, and throughout The District Detroit.”

“Comerica Bank and the Tigers have a rich history in Detroit and our ballpark sponsorship has allowed us to celebrate that history while deepening relationships with our customers and strengthening our community,” said Michael T. Ritchie, president, Comerica Bank-Michigan. “We salute the Ilitch organization for their leadership in Detroit’s revitalization and look forward to continuing to support Detroit’s growth through our sponsorships of Comerica Park and Little Caesars Arena and our funding of developments underway in and around The District Detroit.”

The 2018 Comerica Park Perks program benefits, which currently are being finalized, will include:

  • A Comerica VIP Gate Entrance to Comerica Park, which will enable customers to show their Comerica card and game tickets at Gate C to enter the ballpark.

  • A Tigers Ticket Sweepstakes that will offer a chance to win four tickets to each Detroit Tigers home game.

  • Ticket discounts all season long for Comerica customers.

  • VIP pregame parties for three select games, which are to be determined.

  • Detroit Tigers Kids Club membership discounts.

  • An end-of-season celebration on Sept. 29, 2018, which will benefit local nonprofit organizations.
