Comerica Restructures and Relocates Comerica Asset Management Group
All Investment Management Services Now Available Under One Roof

BIRMINGHAM, Mich./ Feb. 9, 2011 – Comerica Bank recently restructured its asset management group and relocated those business units into an expanded office in Birmingham, Mich., located at 255 East Brown Street.

Comerica Asset Management Group consists of the bank’s traditional investment management services (Comerica Asset Management) along with World Asset Management and Wilson, Kemp & Associates. All of Comerica’s investment management services are available under one roof at the Birmingham location. The Group also recently restructured to better distinguish the service it provides to clients. Many of the operational activities of portfolio managers will be centralized, so that more time can be spent with clients analyzing their investment strategy.

“This new structure and unique model of bringing together active and passive management under one roof offers our clients the best of both worlds,” said David Skolnik, president of Comerica Asset Management Group and executive director of the bank’s Wealth Management business.

“The combination of Comerica’s traditional investment management services with our more specialized subsidiaries ensures our clients have the right mix of investment strategies as their needs and circumstances change and allows us to bring better products and services to market.”

The Birmingham location previously was home to World Asset Management. Comerica now has 11,000 square feet of space at that location and plans to add another 2,600 square feet to house its compliance and operations staff who had been located in other Comerica offices.

World Asset Management, Inc. offers passively managed portfolios to private investors, corporations, municipalities, Taft-Hartley clients, endowments, foundations and hospitals. Wilson, Kemp & Associates offers active investment management services to private investors, charitable institutions, corporations, and municipalities.
