RIVIERA BEACH, Fla., Jan. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Comerica Bank's new banking center in Riviera Beach kicks-off an expansion program by the Detroit- based bank to add three banking locations to South Florida in 2007.

The new Riviera banking center is located at 155 E. Blue Heron Blvd. The center is open Monday - Thursday from 9 am to 4:30 pm; Friday 9 am to 5 pm. The center offers a full range of banking and wealth management services, including a drive-up ATM and safe deposit services.
The center is managed by Alina Farinas who has nine years of financial services experience and comes to Comerica from Washington Mutual Bank where she served as an Assistant Manager.
The Riviera banking center joins Comerica's eight other Florida locations in Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach Gardens, Naples, Sarasota, Stuart, Wellington and Weston.
Randy Nobles, Comerica's Florida regional president, said the state is an important part of the bank's overall growth strategy.
"Florida has led the nation in job creation in the last three years, more than 1,000 people move to this state every day and the economy continues to thrive," Nobles said. "It makes good business sense to expand our presence throughout South Florida. That's why we're looking at locations in Orlando, Tequesta and East Boca Raton."
Comerica has been in Florida since 1979 and specializes in wealth management, middle-market lending, small-business services, automobile dealer services, commercial real estate and private lending. The bank has some 130 employees in Florida who build the business through strong client relationships.
"We're different than a lot of banks because we focus on skill rather than scale," Nobles said. "The relationships we have with our clients often extends through several generations. In our early days here in the state, we focused on affluent clients from Michigan who came down for the season.
"But the Florida landscape has changed significantly and we are eager to introduce Comerica to new clients and show them how we can help them succeed financially."
