DETROIT, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Comerica Bank announced today that Curt Brown has been promoted to senior vice president. Brown is outstate Michigan market manager, with responsibility for the growth and success of Comerica's locations in Central and West Michigan.

An 18-year veteran of Comerica, Brown works with the bank's Retail Bank, Business Bank and Wealth & Institutional Management divisions to meet the needs of Comerica's customers and expand its business in the region. Prior to being appointed outstate Michigan market manager in 2005, Brown worked in Comerica's Credit Policy area and had 13 years experience as a lender.
Brown holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
Brown, a resident of Brighton, Mich., serves on the Genoa Township Planning Commission.
