Comerica Bank Names Manager for New Plano Branch

June 30, 2004 - Comerica Bank has named David Fida as Branch Manager for its new Plano branch, opening this fall. With 24 years’ experience in banking, senior vice president Fida has been with Comerica since 1997, working in management positions with the bank’s Campbell Central, Central Spring Valley and NorthPark branches.

Fida holds a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University, Kansas, and is currently a member of the Plano Chamber of Commerce, North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and the Northeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Plano Independent School District Career Advisory Committee and has served on the board of Practical Parenting Inc. and Communities in Schools of Dallas. He is an ordained deacon for Prestonwood Baptist Church of Plano.

Comerica’s new Plano branch, opening in October 2004, will be located at the southeast corner of Chapel Hill and the North Dallas Tollway, across from The Shops at Willow Bend. Current Comerica locations in the Plano area include 3310 Premier Road and 8612 Preston Road, Suite 114.

Comerica plans a second new Collin County branch to open in November at the southwest corner of McDermott and Central Expressway/75N in Allen.
