SEGUNDO/May 6, 2004 - Comerica Bank, the nation’s No. 1 business bank, today officially opened the doors of its new, full-service El Segundo branch, located in the beautiful Atrium at Continental Park at 2321 Rosecrans Ave.
A special ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opened the new branch. Several Comerica Bank executives, including J. Michael Fulton, President and CEO of Comerica Bank-Western Division, as well as members of the bank’s Board of Directors were present for the ceremony. In addition, distinguished city officials from El Segundo and the chamber of commerce attended the morning ceremony. An invitation-only VIP reception will follow that evening.
To celebrate the grand opening of Comerica’s new branch in El Segundo, small business customers will receive special promotional offers, including: free Small Business Checking or Small Business Checking Plus with free initial order of checks; free Web Bill Pay for Business; Business Check Card with no annual fee; special rates on Business or Personal Money Market Accounts; and, a $5 Starbucks gift card.

Victoria (Vicki) Rodriguez, who has 27 years of banking experience, is manager of the new El Segundo Branch. Rodriguez, who previously served as manager of Comerica’s Inglewood branch on La Cienega Blvd., is responsible for customer service, sales and business development and the daily operations of the branch. She oversees a staff of responsive, service-oriented professionals who provide Comerica’s clients with a wealth of important business resources.
To commemorate the grand opening of the El Segundo branch, Comerica has made a $1,000 donation to the El Segundo Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee. The check was presented to Kim Chieppa, chairman of the El Segundo Education Committee during the ribbon cutting ceremony.
