DALLAS, Nov. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective today, 49 former branches of Sterling Bancshares in Texas will open for business as full-service Comerica Banking Centers. Included are 28 locations in the greater Houston area, 13 in the San Antonio region and eight across Dallas/Fort Worth. Today also marks the successful completion of systems integrations, which officially converted former Sterling operating systems to the Comerica customer platform. Comerica Bank completed its acquisition of Sterling Bancshares on July 28, 2011.

New Comerica signage at all 49 former Sterling locations across Texas will be revealed and illuminated for the first time this morning.
For the majority of the Comerica Bank locations in the Lone Star state, drive through banking opens at 7:30am and lobby hours begin at 9am. Effective today, information on the 49 newest Comerica banking centers can be found on www.comerica.com/local.
