The non-profit food banks and homeless shelters serve families and individuals in eight counties where Comerica Bank has offices - Fresno, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties in California, and Maricopa County (Phoenix), Arizona. The bank's donations this month follow an announcement of $35,000 in donations to the food banks at Thanksgiving from the Comerica Charitable Foundation.

"This is a tough time of year for many families and individuals living in communities where our Comerica colleagues live and work," said Fulton. "On behalf of all of my colleagues, I'm proud to announce that Comerica Bank is reaching out to assist those in need this Christmas by giving $5,000 each to 10 outstanding community organizations. It is our hope that these gifts not brighten the holidays for the needy, but also stimulate more donations to food banks and homeless shelters."
