Comerica Names Jim Weber as Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Corporate Communications

DALLAS, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Comerica Incorporated (NYSE: CMA) today announced the appointment of Jim Weber as senior vice president of Corporate Marketing and Corporate Communications. Weber reports to Connie Beck, executive vice president of Comerica's Retail Bank.

In his role as chief marketing and communications officer, Weber will be responsible for the development and execution of Comerica's brand strategy as well as its internal and external communications.

"Jim brings to Comerica more than 20 years of proven experience in the development and execution of fully integrated marketing and communications programs," said Beck. "His insights and expertise in areas such as strategic planning and brand management will be particularly helpful to us as we advance our strategy to diversify our customer base and extend our reach into high- growth markets."

Weber joins Comerica from the consumer products company Fossil Inc., of Richardson, Texas, where he had served as senior vice president of Global Marketing since 2005. Previously, he served as a Dallas-based strategic and creative consultant. He also has held leadership positions at the Temerlin McClain and Publicis/Bloom advertising agencies in Dallas. He began his career at the DDB advertising agency in New York.

Weber, a Dallas resident, holds a bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.
