DETROIT/April 11, 2005 - Comerica Bank will host a small business workshop "Recruiting and Retaining Your Employees -- The Basics" on Thursday, April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Superior Room at Comerica’s Livonia Operations Center, located at 39200 Six Mile Road in Livonia, Mich. A pre-workshop continental breakfast will begin at 8 a.m.
The seminar is part of a comprehensive series of workshops sponsored by Comerica that are designed to help small business owners succeed.
Sylvia Carter-Smith and Ebony Alexander of Comerica’s Human Resources Department will share sourcing and recruiting techniques, methods of assessing and interviewing candidates, and tips for retaining productive and successful employees.
Cost for the workshop is $50 for Comerica customers and $75 for non-Comerica customers and $25 for each additional participant from the same company. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 1-800-829-5214 or by visiting and clicking on "Small Business Workshops."
