SAN JOSE/November 16, 2004 - Comerica Bank has named Nolan C. Hiatt branch manager of its new branch in Newport Beach, Calif.
Hiatt is the former branch manager of Downey Savings and Loan in nearby Costa Mesa, Calif., and brings 22 years of experience in the financial services industry to his new position.
He has held manager positions with Bank of America and the Greater Nevada Credit Union. Hiatt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa.
The Newport Beach branch of Comerica Bank is scheduled to open Dec. 3 at 2131 Westcliff, Newport Beach. It will be the second new Comerica branch to open in Orange County this year.
Two more branches are to open in the county next year - a second Newport Beach branch at 680 Newport Center Drive, and a new Irvine branch at San Canyon and Irvine Center Drive. Comerica Bank is opening a total of nine Southern California branches in 2004-05.
