Texas Diversity Council Names Comerica’s Muneera Carr To Dallas Power 50

Comerica’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Muneera Carr has been named to Texas Diversity Council’s 2018 Dallas Power 50.

The Dallas Power 50 recognizes female executives, influencers and achievers impacting various industries in corporate America. This year’s list includes a prominent group of North Texas executives representing some of the country’s most recognizable brands from across all lines of business.

“This recognition reflects Muneera’s impact, expertise and commitment to Comerica,” said Ralph W. Babb Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Comerica. “Her leadership within the organization and in the community is instrumental in helping further our success as a company.”

Honorees were selected based on criteria that included leadership skills, dedication to the community, respect among peers and other industry leaders and demonstrates a commitment to the overall success of their company.

Carr, who joined Comerica in February 2010, was named chief financial officer this past January. Since joining Comerica as chief accounting office and controller, her responsibilities expanded to include tax, and planning and forecasting.
