Mobile Banking Features Underscore Comerica's Commitment to a Higher Level of Banking

DALLAS, July 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Comerica Bank today announced the introduction of a number of new enhancements to its Mobile Banking service, including Click&Capture DepositSM, person-to-person transfers and a sleek new iPad application, all designed to underscore the bank's commitment to a higher level of banking.

The Click&Capture Deposit feature offers picture-perfect banking. Customers can use the Comerica Mobile Banking application to snap a quick photo of the endorsed check they want to deposit, and confirm the account and amount before submitting it with the click of a button. It's that simple.

Comerica Person to Person Transfer is a fast and secure way to send, request and receive money using a smartphone, iPad or computer. All a customer needs is an email address or mobile phone number to send or receive money, without having to exchange personal financial account information.

"We like to call our person-to-person transfer enhancement the way to send money the 'new-fashioned' way," said Natoli. "Customers can use this feature to send money to a child at college, pay back money borrowed from a friend, or pay the babysitter or lawn care service provider. Ever eat dinner with a group of friends and wish you didn't have to make the waiter or waitress split up the bill? Now, with a text or email, you can send your part of the bill to a friend, or deposit incoming transfers from other friends."

The new iPad app for Comerica Mobile Banking is customized for a larger tablet screen, including unique interfaces and on-screen functionality, as well as single-screen action that eliminates the need to navigate to a new page.
